

Born on July 29, 1951, to Clod and Annie Sullivan, in Decatur, AL, Hamp was renowned for his mischievous and joyous smile, sharp wit, and great sense of humor. He was adored by his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished forever.
Hamp is survived by his daughter, Danelle Sullivan of Seminole, OK; step-sons, Jody Quick (Mary Jane) and Stevie Quick (Marla) both of Flintville, TN; sisters, Barbara Bowling, Martha “Roscoe” Laney, and Sandra Borden. He is also survived by his nephews, Keith Bowling, Mike Bowling, Robby Sullivan, Bubba Borden, Stewart Borden, John Griffin, Chris Borden, and Austin Borden; and nieces, Lavonne Osborne, Teressa Pettey, Gina Aguado, Nikki Walker, and Jenny Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clod and Annie Sullivan; his wife, Dean Sullivan, to whom he was married for 30 years until her death on February 25, 2020; his brother, Kenneth ‘Jughead’ Sullivan; and his niece, Amanda ‘Mandy’ Smith.
Hamp retired from Sonoco as a welder.
A visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home & Roselawn Cemetery, located at 741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, Alabama, 35601, on January 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the same venue on January 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
