Loretta Paulette Roden

Loretta Paulette Roden, of Athens, AL. passed away on May 1, 2021. Her Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin Burt officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Paulette Roden is survived by her three sons' Denny Parker (Joy), Keith Parker ( Shannon), Lanney Parker. Her two brothers Don Roden, Melvin Roden two sisters, Rose Newton, and Melanie Harville, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren. Ms. Roden is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Leon Roden, and Lillie May Sparks, three brothers Buddy Roden, Jimmy Roden, and Barry Roden. Paulette was born February 8, 1947 in Lawrence County. She graduated high school from Paw Paw Michigan in 1965. She was a professional seamstress and operated many of her own small businesses. Paulette loved "Junk". She enjoyed turning that "junk" into something beautiful. But above all of those things she loved the Lord. Pallbearers will be Bruce Newton, Chris Newton, Mason Newton, Justice Parker, Bradley Roden, Jonathan Roden. Roselawn Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
