Mrs. Sullivan was born in Lawrence County, AL on June 5, 1937 to sharecroppers, Paul and Eula Wallace. She graduated from high school at the age of 16. Following high school Mrs. Sullivan began working for W.T. Grants, where she met her two best friends. Years following she began her career working for Utotem, later Circle K. Throughout her time at Circle K she advanced to zone manager and held that position until retirement. The employees at Circle K knew her as the “Dragon Lady” because she was known for getting things done. Mrs. Sullivan volunteered at DAVA and the VFW for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the birds on her back porch, and singing with her grandchildren. Mrs. Sullivan was a loving and caring lady and because of that she earned the nickname “Mom” by many. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Sullivan is preceded in death by her, parents; brothers, James Wallace, Tommy Wallace, Lloyd Wallace, Delmer Wallace, Delbert Wallace, and Aaron Wallace; one granddaughter, Kathleen Sivley.
