Funeral for Mary H. "Tootsie" Kelso, 76, of Trinity will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Shane Williams officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kelso, who died Friday, June 7, 2013, at her residence, was born June 5, 1937, in Alabama. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell "Gene" Kelso; and one son, Jerry Kelso.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Gene (Connie) Kelso of Trinity and Bobby Lavon (Suzanne) Kelso of Decatur; very special friend, Eugene Alcey of Trinity; one brother, Earl Cottingham of Decatur; four sisters, Dot Hargrove of Trinity, Christine Whitlock and Margie Lot, both of Moulton, Patsy Blevins of Priceville; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Toby Kelso, Brandon Compton, Erik Johnson, Joey Hargrove, Jeff Hargrovbe, Bubba Whitlock and Leldon Lacey.
