Norma Waldrep King, 98, died Tuesday, January 29, in Decatur, AL. Born February 23, 1920, in Lawrence Co., AL, to Charlie and Annis Waldrep, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband Clinton King, sisters Imogene Narmore and Evelyn Calloway, brothers Dewey, Lile, Coy, Charles Jr., Forrest, and Aubrey Waldrep, and daughter Peggy McCleskey.
Mrs. King is survived by one sister, Bobbie Sue Chavez, two daughters Judy Fuller and Myra Kitchens (Jesse), one son Billy King, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Jeff Kitchens officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm, with the service immediately following. Burial will be at Decatur City Cemetery, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
