Robert Elton McConnell passed on April 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on March 30, 1941, Robert lived in Decatur, Alabama. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Cemetery, with Bro. Richie Thompson to officiate.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Phillip (Ranee) and Tim (Cindy); 3 grand kids, Stephen, Mollie (Garrett) and Lindsey (Brad); 2 great grand kids, Matthew and James; and his brother Gerald (Jill) McConnell.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Linda Faye McConnell; parents, Houston and Tera McConnell; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Tommy Whitehead.
