Wayne Timothy Hall

Funeral services for Wayne Timothy Hall, 66, of Decatur will be this evening, August 31, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur and Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Curtis & Son Funeral Home in Childersburg. Place and time of visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7:30 at Roselawn Funeral Home and Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Curtis & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery. Rev. John Rutland Jr. will officiate in Decatur and Rev. Mike Johnson will officiate in Childersburg.

Mr. Hall, who died Monday, August 29, 2011, at Parkway Medical Center from complications of leukemia, was born March 5, 1945 in Good Springs. He retired as an electrician/instrument mechanic from Bowater Paper Mill in Childersburg. He was a very dedicated and loving family man. Mr. Hall loved to fish, hunt and garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joan Hall; his parents, Sam Hall and Catherine Hall Terry; and brother, Larry Hall.

He is survived by his wife of four years, Mary E. Hall; one son, Scott Hall (Debbie); three daughters, Sonia Thibodeaux (Chris), Shelly Alverson (Jason) and Karen Brashear (Baine); two stepsons, Burton Coley Jr. (Shena) and Roy Coley; mother-in-law, Alsie Fisher; one brother, Jerome M. Hall; one sister, Darlene Maze (Jim); nine grandchildren, Wes Shirley, Houston Hollingsworth, Caitlin Carpenter (Matt), Patrick Shirley, Taylor Hollingsworth, Brooke Brashear, Matt Hall, Hayden Hall and Audrey Alverson; four stepgrandchildren, Brittney Coley, Amy Coley, Jack Coley and Marissa Coley; and great-grandchildren, Valen Shirley, Kennedy Coley, Karsyn Coley, and soon-to-be, Parker Vanzant.

Pallbearers will be Wes Shirley, Houston Hollingsworth, Patrick Shirley, Taylor Hollings- worth, Matt Hall, Jameson Maze, Chris Trucks, Mark Vanzant and Jonathan Trucks.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
