The news of his passing deeply affected me, as well as the entire lab community.

I fondly recall our encounters in the cafeteria, where Neale always greeted me with a warm smile and a positive spirit. We shared a special bond through our Caribbean roots, often reminiscing about our lives and experiences from the islands whenever we had the opportunity.

Neale's absence will be profoundly felt at work, and I will miss his radiant smile. I pray for his peaceful rest and hope that his wife and children find solace in knowing he has returned home. His memory will forever be a cherished blessing for all who had the privilege of knowing him and experiencing his kindness.

Dave was always so much fun to ride with! Kindest soul there was and toughest rider. He will be missed ❤️‍🩹

May the Lord hold you and keep you in the love of his arms.

Mike and I have lots of great memories of David. He was always a perfect gentleman even though we helped him become a ride leader. He soon left us in the dust be with team revolution riding faster than ever, but he always took time to say hello at the bank. And I remember we had our ride going out of the bank, and so did David. And I waited until they got back to share the chocolate cake. I also remember doing a Montauk century with David and he cramped up about 7 miles left to go so the whole group stopped and waited till he was OK to continue rest in peace .Lynn & mike Fiorella

Dave was a great riding buddy who always made sure that there was a good group photo at every stop point in the ride.  A great ride leader, too, and made sure all who were riding stayed together.  He will be missed, but his presence at every Team Revolution ride will continue to be with us.

It is a shame to have such kind friend taken so soon. He will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Dave’s family. He always spoke about his wife and sons with a smile on the bike rides we shared with Team Revolution. He will be missed by so many whose lives were improved by having him in their life.

We rode with Dave in the SBRA bike club a few years ago but would see him sometimes when he was riding with Team Revolution.  I always loved seeing and talking with him.  
He was so friendly and upbeat.  I enjoyed hearing speak about his travels.  He will be missed 💕

I am heartbroken and shocked at the news of Dave's passing. Dave was my mentor and boss this summer while I was an intern at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. He was not just a boss, he was a colleague and friend. His cheerfulness and kindness touched everyone who worked with him at Cold Spring Harbor Lab. His impact on the Office of Sponsored Programs is immeasurable.
