You made me feel like I was part of the family even before Dave & I were married.  You always so sweet and caring and made me feel so welcomed in your home.  Every year I looked forward to making candycanes with you.  We will keep our promise to Don and continue the tradition with you in our hearts.  I am so happy to have gotten to spend so much time with you at Sharon Springs, playing cards and at the lake.  I am especially happy that you had spent time with our newest addition, Nico.  I will be sure to tell him how special you were to us.  You are forever in our hearts. We love you.

We thank God for the life of a wonderful woman whose faith, love and kindness touched the lives of so many. She is with Jesus now and has heard his welcoming words - 'Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord". Praying for all the family.

I loved Aunt Lucille.  She was a very loving and generous lady.  I remember our conversation about Jesus.  Serving God. Praise God!  My heart goes out to Uncle Donny and her family's loss and that they will miss her.  But, when we focus on God, and are saved by God's amazing grace, we will all be worshiping our Lord Jesus together in heaven with her some day.  She is with him now!   I pray that God gives you all peace through this difficult time.

I want to add my condolences to the Winter Family during this time.  I am thankful that I did get to know her.  Such a gracious, wonderful lady who will be sorely missed.

I wish I could have one more hug from my precious Lu Lu.  Her hugs seemed to give me strength and I could feel her genuine love for me.  Lucille always treated me as one of her own and there was always an extra seat at the Winter table for me.  Oh the laughs we had! I can't help but smile when I think of this special woman who had such a spiritual and meaningful and impact on my life.

Lucille --always a blessing and an expression of God's Great Goodness. Thinking of her with love and praying for the comfort of the her entire family.  SO GREAT IS HIS UNFAILING LOVE...

I don't think there is anyone who knew Lucille, (and even many who didn't know her personally) that was not blessed by her in some way, as she "went about doing good". She left a powerful legacy and was an inspiring example by her loving deeds and devotion to her loved ones, as well as to the vision she committed her life to; a vision inspired by the will of the loving God she diligently served.
Her sudden passing has left a huge void this side of heaven. My love and prayers for comfort and strength are with her family.

My cousin Lucille was a loving, energetic, and very special person.. her door was always open to everyone and we took full advantage of her invitation..many nights were spent aroung the Winter table talking and laughing. Nicknamed "Boombeil"(don't know about the spelling) by the family..it was an expression of love and caring.Will miss her so much.

You were one of the first faces I remember from the "basement days" when the church was young . I was 13 at the time.
