My sincere condolences and prayers go to Ray's family.Faz was bigger than life, there are too many stories to even try to put into words. He will be missed. Georgie, Alaina and the rest of Ray's family needs to keep the memories of him in your hearts, and share them often.

Raymond, although I know Denise nearly my entire life, I have only known you for nearly half of that but it was a pleasure to have been your friend.  You were like a big teddy bear who looked intimidating but were a gentle man.  You had a big heart and a lot of patience and knew a lot about life.  You could go on and on about a speck of dust if you had the chance and make it interesting. My Michael and Mia loved you from the heart and looked forward to seeing you on our visits. Ray,,( FAZ) we started out in kindergarten at memorial...overlooking edgewood ironically and time passed we grew up around the corner from each other same house and all our birthdays were only two days apart....separated by time and fate haven't seen you in quite some time that DeerPark East side between weston and grand thing was tight and close so i feel like even though its been alot of years since our paths crossed i lost a family member....hey thats the way neighborhoods work from back in the day...i'll never forget that we were waliking home from school and you stopped to help that bird that was having trouble flying...you were and still are the ultimate metalhead with a heart of gold....god bless and rest in peace my friend.... I haven't see you since high school and we didn't really hangout since Jr. High.  I do have great memories of you from our short time together. You made our school years fun. I always knew you were a kind person and I wish we could have know each other as adults.  I hope your sister was able to pass along my greetings last year to you. My condolences to your family.  I will see you on the other side where I am sure we can find some trouble to get into.

I've had a little time to myself to reflect on all that has happened in the last week, The sadness is suffocating and I am crushed.
 I first want to say again to Ray's immediate family how sorry I am, Ray was my family too - My cousin and my not so little brother.
 I would also like to thank all the many friends and family who came and  made it just a little easier for a couple of days - you know who you are!! And to all Ray's friends scattered across the country who could not make it... you were all here in spirit.
 I can not count the number of friends I have today that I might never have met if not for Ray.
 Ray, I cant believe you have been taken away from us and I cant understand why. But one thing they can never take away is the memories we shared.
 I am led to believe that your son will someday read this, and I hope to tell him some stories about you, some will have to wait until he is old enough to truly understand.
 Okay my brother, sorry this was so long. I love you and I will always miss you and things will never be the same without you.

I may not have seen Ray in the past 20+ yrs 
However I'll always remember the crazy nights in Edgewood w him, his great devious laugh and the ability to make you smile no matter how wild and crazy he was. 
Ray while you def now join the angels of the dearly departed and your physical presence is no longer here with us.

always new when ray was home i would hear him sing in the shower bathroom window was on the side of my dinning room one day my son jonathan came home and said mom what is that so i him it ray sing in thw shower my son laugh we are going to miss that going to miss him cause he really was full of life we will miss him but never forget him

Many people say to remember and hold onto the memories of our loved ones when they have passed. I have no doubt that Ray's family and friends have memories to last a lifetime.  Although I did not spend a lot of time with Faz, I remember his huge heart and larger than life spirit.  If you were with Faz, you were smiling.  If it's possible, Heaven has now become a lot brighter and a ton more fun.  My heart goes out to Ray's family and his closest friends.  Rest in Peace Faz.

A man who was known and loved by many, lived life on his own terms and made the most of every moment. We were all fortunate to have had him touch our lives in some way, and sorrowful that his time was so short. May god bless and comfort his family!

I could write a book with my memories of Ray. I remember his smile and laugh. I remember hanging out listening to music for hours on end. Ray entertaining the entire train car as we rode the LIRR into NYC for the St.Patrick's Day Parade. Ray teasing us girls as we were doing our hair and make-up getting ready to go out. Life lessons and lectures from Ray.

The thing I remember the most is that he never treated me like a tag-a-long or an annoyance. I brought Ray food, was a friend of his little sister, & good people in his book. So, Ray treated me like I was his other little sister. That made a huge difference in my life. Ray is the most interesting character & the most unique person I have ever known. He will be missed greatly.

My sincere condolences to all of you.  No words can ever be said to ease your pain.  Heaven has another angel watching over you.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers, today,tomorrow and always.

I didnt know Ray as an adult but i heard from.many people that he had the same spirit and humor hd did when we were teens. Id bet he had a wild streak in him but it was a controlled wildness. My confolences go out to his wife and son and the rest of his family. RIP RAY

Ray, what a shock to all, you were the rock. There are no words to express what we are all feeling, you touched so many lives in such a beautiful way. You were truly a family man, one who lived each day for Denise and Joe.  I am so happy that you got to enjoy yet another beautiful vacation with them.  Looking at all the beautiful pictures shows how great a husband and father you were and these will be something for Denise and Joe to treasure.
