Our dear brother and precious friend, you have always meant so much to us and we fell in love with you  the day we met you. Your smile, laughter, storytelling, and love of life will always make us smile when we think of you. We thank you and Beth for all your generosity which leaves us with so many wonderful memories. The times we had were never ending fun. The vacation to Hope  Town in the Abaco Islands when we got lost in the ocean with just the four of us (three of the four of us were freaking out and you were just taking it in stride as the Captain should) , the cruise, deep sea fishing, Singer Island when we had the painting party (well three of us did), and all the wonderful times we had whether in NY or FL will forever be treasured. Gary, you had the ride of your life more than anyone we've known. Even when you were in such pain you tried to enjoy the ride. You didn't want to let go, but even though you were willing, your body wasn't able to any longer and God decided you were needed in Heaven for everyone who never met you here, to have an extra feeling of joy there. Mom and Dad, watch out,  "Dr. Klopp"  is on his way. No more resting. Beth will have a hole in her heart that you had always filled so completely. Send Beth your smile and laughter,  and watch over her from heaven as she tries to endure life without you here physically . Thank you Gary for trying so hard to stay with Beth. You will always be with us in spirit Gary. As Tyrone Wells song goes "WE HAVE  HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES" with you and Beth. We will remember you and love you always, Nancy and Gary

When I first met you Gary, I loved you simply because you made Beth happy. Then I learned to love you for the person you were and the joyous way you approached life. I will never forget  our joint cockroach battle - Ugh! Or the standing-on-the-chair toast you gave at my Mohonk graduation party. Or how much you hated the cold when you came to New York with Beth - but still you came. Because of your personality, I’ve always been able to close my eyes and see and hear you even when you weren’t around - that is a gift that will keep on giving (but just for a moment the quiet is deafening)! Thank you for loving us as your family Gary - even when we drove you crazy!

Thank you Uncle Gary for finger painting with me, all the sleepovers with you and Aunt Beth when we were young, going trick or treating with me and Josh, but most of all thank you for your unconditional love. I always loved getting random phone calls from you while I was at school and I’m so thankful I was able to see you and Aunt Beth in Orlando when you dropped me off at Disney. I miss you more than you’ll ever know. I’m guessing that fishing in heaven is Cool Beans! I love you so much! 

Gary I will miss you and love you always, fishing in Mexico and shooting across the coast to visit when we lived in Florida. I won't miss you hitting me with the bathroom door when I was passed out on the floor but it was pretty funny. I love you buddy have fun fishing in the afterlife safe sailing brugh.
