A graduate of Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati, Lena was known for her compassion, intelligence, perseverance and zest for life. An accomplished athlete, she excelled in swimming, tennis, cheerleading, and horseback riding. She had an infectious energy and playfulness.
She was an artist at heart, expressing herself creatively and with a love for music. She cherished traveling and exploring the world around her. Lena’s beautiful smile, kind and generous spirit, and resilience in the face of challenges made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her parents, Joan and Harold Bell; her brother, Michael Bell (Sarah); her sisters, Racheal Wood (Brian) and Roberta Ross (Tom); her nephew, Nick Bell; and her nieces, Ellen Wood, Hazel Bell, Andrea Bell, Hannah Ross, and Megan Ross.
Lena touched many lives, and her legacy of kindness, compassion, and joy will be forever cherished. She loved and was incredibly loved by her family.
