Madeline grew up in Glendale, Queens. She later met and married her late husband Arthur in 1949.
Madeline and Arthur retired to North Lauderdale, Florida in 1973. They later lived in Deerfield Beach for nearly 20 years.
Madeline and Arthur were married for 69 years until his passing in December 2018.
In her earlier years, Madeline enjoyed Michelob light, Pall Mall cigarettes, and long walks on Deerfield beach.
Madeline was strong, stubborn and never shy to cast her thoughts and opinions. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She will be missed.
Madeline is preceded by her parents Herbert and Anna Wagner, sister Anna Rokistski and husband Arthur.
Madeline is survived by her brother, Herbert R. Wagner, sister, Virginia D’Orio, daughter Kathleen Anne (Aikey) Hayes, son-in-law Kevin Hayes Sr., son Ronald Aikey and his wife Karen (Griffith), grandson Kevin Hayes Jr. and his wife Emily Hayes, and her two great granddaughters, Ashley Catherine Hayes and Alyssa Grace Hayes. Rest in peace Maddy.
