Margaret Rose Ryan

Margaret Rose Ryan, daughter of the late James Joseph and Mary (Lovett) Sheils, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 85, in Deerfield Beach, Florida on November 7, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born on October 16, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York.

Cherished mother of Deidre (Paul) and the late Peter. Beloved grandmother of Brandon. Beloved sister of Dennis Sheils of Jacksonville, Florida.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Maureen Bowler and Noreen Sheils; brothers, Charlie Sheils and James Sheils; sister-in-law, Josephine Sheils and Mary Sheils; and brother-in-law James Bowler.

Margaret is also survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Rachelle, many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends in both the United States and Ireland.

Margaret was deeply loved by all who knew her and for her generosity, kindness and sassiness. She loved spending time with family, tellin stories of her childhood, traveling, celebrating holidays, watching her Korean and British shows, and old movies, and spending time with her pets.

Princess Margaret Rose, as her family called her, was a wonderful, strong woman and will be missed immensely by all.

To honor her wishes a cremation will occur and the family will have a memorial service in New York, at a later date and time.
