Nick was my friend. One of closest friends.  He was clever guy who always had some joke at the ready to make me snort whatever drink had in hand just for the giggles during lunch.  I just wish had more time to make more memories with him. I'm going to miss him,  but I will always cherish the time I knew him.

nick was a wonderful big bother to me. sure we fought, annoyed each other, said stupid jokes to another, or got on the other's nerve. but in all seriousness he was a great big bother to me. he protected me when i was getting bullied when i was younger, he always shared some of his food that he got from either lil ceasers or dominos, and we talked about anime and science together. there was this one time where my dog, bella, kept sneezing on him. and so he said to her, "if you sneeze on me one more time, i'm going to sneeze on you!" so as bella sneezed on him again, he prepared to sneeze on her. he sneezed on her, having snot all over her face and head. sure it was pretty gross for bella, but it was funny in the moment. man, i just hope nick is at peace and that he is looking down on all of us, hoping that we all do great in the life that we were given on earth.
