My deepest sympathy for the whole family! Steven was my cousin. Aunt Brenda and Uncle Wally’s son. Steven had the greatest heart, was a very funny fella and I heard a good chiropractor (of course never in the State I live in), and a great daddy. He brought so much joy to others around him. Although we haven’t seen each other in years, he will be truly missed. ❤️

Rest in peace, my dear nephew. You always said that you'd take care of me and would never let anyone put me in a nursing home. And, now, for some reason, you're gone and I'm still here.

It's great, however, that you lived long enough to see your children grow into fine adults. They are really nice people.

I like to imagine that you're now with your dad, Wally, and the two of you are hanging out together. You will take care of each other. Nothing and no one can hurt or bother either one of you again.

I've known Steven most of my life.  From our childhood in Chicago to adulthood living in Georgia.  He wasn't just my friend, Steven was my family.  When I was pregnant with my second son, James,  I chose Steven for a middle name.  He was just that special to me.  When we all moved to Georgia at one point in our lives Steven and I hung out quite a bit.  He helped me survive a divorce and had faith in me that I could overcome defeat and raise two little boys on my own...  And, you know what? I did.  He helped me move, he helped me when I was sick, and he helped me when I felt so alone in this world just by being Steven.  And we all know Steven.  From his crazy clothes to his crazy ways. For the way he talked and made his presence known when he walked into a room.  He made me smile and laugh effortlessly.  And,  he was so great with my boys that I knew he would make a great father someday.  He was fun and outgoing and lived.  Oh, how lucky I was to have him in my life.  He was carefree and he couldn't give a rat's ass of what people thought of him because he exuded confidence.  He had plans and ideas and was strong headed and made his voice heard.  He made mistakes and made more mistakes but we all do.  He wasn't perfect but no one is.  He was a fighter and he never backed down.

Steven and Natalia, your Dad, was a great man and I know that he loved you more than life itself.  I want you to know that if you ever need a friend that I'm here for you.  Because I know that if the roles  were reversed your Dad would do the same.  All of you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this unimaginable loss.  I know that Steven has touched all our lives and that we hold so many memories.  We were all so blessed when he walked this Earth. How fortunate were those of us to call him his friend.  He will always be remembered and he will always hold a special place in my heart.  God bless you Steven.  Be free from this world and be at peace. I love you. I will miss you.
