

Warren was a member of the Marine Corps in WWII. He raised his family in NY and came to Deerfield Beach to retire. Out of boredom, he restarted his business, Gimler Plumbing, in Deerfield Beach where he became active in the community. He was involved with the Rotary Club of Deerfield Beach as a Paul Harris Fellow member, a long time standing member of the American Legion Post 162, BSO Pension Board, Chamber of Commerce, and Zion Lutheran Church and School.
Warren’s passing is preceded by that of his first and loving wife, Joyce Gimler; his siblings, Dorothy Gimler and Arthur Gimler; and his grandson, Christopher Shultis.
He is survived by his loving companion and wife of 25 years, Mona Gimler; his sister, Joan Toth; son, Warren Gimler; daughter, Lynn Miller (husband, Neil); grandchildren, Melissa Gimler-McNulty (husband, Shawn), Tommy Gimler (wife, Brooke), Randy Shultis, and Heather Shultis; and great-grandsons, Kevin Shawn McNulty and Hunter William Gimler.
He is also survived by six stepchildren, Frank, Dana (husband, Michael), Sheri, Michael, Dean (wife, Maria), and Beth; eleven step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in Warren’s honor at 10:00 a.m., July 6, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, Deerfield Beach. The family kindly asks contributions in Warren’s honor be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Condolences may be offered at http://www.KraeerDeerfieldBeach.com.
