Amber played soccer most of her life, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends. Her daughter Makenzy was absolutely the light of her life.
Amber was preceded in death by her father, Rick; maternal grandfather, Rolland Gerdes; paternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Taft; uncles, Kevin and Billy Taft. Survivors include by her life partner, Darrell Short; daughter, Makenzy Short; mother, Roxeann Taft; grandmother, Nadine Gerdes; aunts and uncles, Susie Bowser (Don), Rolland “Buster” Gerdes, Jr., Chuck Taft, Deborah Fulton and Jack Stotts; numerous cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
