Angie was a glamorous person who loved to throw parties. She enjoyed shopping especially for clothing. Angie retired from McClellan Air Force based where she worked as a secretary. After retirement, she began selling costume jewelry and traveling across the United States with her husband, Tom. She and Tom were members of a motor home club in which they would meet once per month to plan a group trip.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Phillips; and siblings, Genevieve Dane, Clara Smith, and Pete Balcerowicz. Survivors include her sister, Nellie Buyers; nieces Diane Dagan and husband Lee, Karen Dahlgren and husband Roger; nephew, Floyd Buyers; great-niece, Jennifer Dagan; great-nephews, Ryan Dahlgren and Blake Dahlgren; step-son, Richard Phillips and wife, Dorothy; and many other family members who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Sunny Lane Cemetery with interment to follow.
