Anna was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 17, 1981, to Barbara and Thomas Ronsick. She loved all living things, especially bugs and critters. She was always dragging home a new pet including (but not limited to) lady bugs, lizards, turtles, a bullfrog, a mud snake and abandoned kittens. She loved camping and other fun activities with her family. She enjoyed playing the double bass and acting in her school’s theatrical presentations. Anna had a real passion for going fishing. When she had a fish on the line, her face would light up and her smile would beam. She made friends everywhere she went, young or old, it didn’t matter. She could learn a person’s life story in a matter of minutes.
Anna’s dream was to have her own family. Anna married Charles Hamilton III on January 2, 2003. Her health struggles made having children difficult, but she was able to bring four children into their family. Her kids meant everything to her. She fought through her numerous health problems because she knew how much they needed her.
Anna enjoyed cooking when she was able. She loved Sonic ice and sushi. She could knit, crochet, paint and write. Anna was a gifted storyteller. Incredibly, her belly-laugh inducing tales were often based on Anna’s personal experiences. If something insane and impossible was going to happen, it would happen to her or right in front of her. She had the best sense of humor. Anna’s huge “ha-ha-ha” laugh was very contagious. Her last words to her family, “I’m totally haunting you.”
Even through the worst of luck (we’re talking “if it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all”) Anna persevered and served her friends, family and community. She was always available for a phone call no matter the time of day or night. She served as a therapist to friends all over the country. She was always gathering money and supplies for friends in need.
Anna’s faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ was unwavering. She knew she was a child of God.
Anna is survived by her parents Thomas and Barbara Ronsick; husband Charles “Chuck”; children Charles “Charlie”, Eliza, Cecelia “Jojo” and Thomas “Tommy”; her siblings Sendai Young, Thomas (Lisa) Ronsick, Sarah (Jody) Bradford, Adam (Joy) Ronsick, Elizabeth (Bryon) Harness, and Emma Ronsick.
