Betty was an excellent cook and enjoyed crocheting, and tending to her rose bushes. She loved her church, family and Sunday school activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Vernon M. Blough Jr., Earl J. Blough, Ray Blough, Harold Blough; half siblings, Joseph McIntyre and Lorene McPherson. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas Edward “Ed” Brown; son, Timothy Brown and wife Vicki; granddaughter, Natalie Brown; half-sister, Letha Nuchols; and her little rat terrier, Max.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Meadowood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
