Billy Ray Smith passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2011. He was born September 2, 1934 in Bangs, TX to J.N. and Thelma Smith. He served 26 years in the U.S. Army and retired as Command Sergeant Major. Billy is survived by his wife of 55 years, JoAnne, two sons Garry and Kenneth, three granddaughters, and his brother Bobby.
