Bobby Gene Estell

My Dad, Bob Estell, age 83, passed away peacefully with family at bedside 5/31/14 in Vacaville, CA. He resided at Emeritus Rancho Solano, Fairfield, CA the past 3 years. He was born 2/14/31 to Jesse James Estell 1905-1981 and Violet Mae Dunn Estell 1911-1994 in Gotebo, OK. Siblings: Troy, Tommy, and David Estell, Mary Lou Richardson, Patricia Holland and Sharon Kay Blethen. Siblings preceded in death: Jesse, Buddy, Jack, Charles Estell and Dorothy Fay. He graduated from Central High School 1949. He earned his B.A. Degree in Math 8/25/61 after attending Central State College and Oklahoma City University. He worked at Tinker AFB, Midwest City, OK 10 years as an aircraft electrician and 25 years as a computer programmer. A few of his favorite things were: Pretty Ladies, Racing stock cars when he was young, Classical Music, Football, OU Sooners, eating at O’Mealeys, Cattleman’s and Braums, Traveling in the U.S., Europe and Western Caribbean Islands, 1932 Model B Ford Roadster, 1949 Ford 2 door customized, (Flamingo), Cadillac’s, TV programs: The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Jeopardy, and Through the Bible with Les Feldick and the Color Red. He was married to Mary Ann Alsup 1949-1954. Son: Bobby Steven Estell 1950-2003, Daughter: Katherine Ann Estell Hicks who resides in Suisun City, CA. Widow: Jo Ann Hisaw Murphy Estell 2002-2010. Grandchildren: Clifford and Curt Berkley, Yvonne Gentry, Tanya Estell, Trey, Nathan and KariAnn Hicks. Great Grandchildren: Christina Natsumi, Dacey and Carter Hicks, Mitchell, Taylor, and Lauren Miller, C.J. and Caleb Berkley. Great Great Grandson: Robert Berkley along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
