

Carl Ray Wood Sr., born on March 4, 1941, in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, passed away on December 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a man of faith, a Christian. He lived a full and vibrant life, cherished by family and friends.
Carl Ray Wood Sr. was preceded in death by His Wife, Doris Fay Wood, Son, Carl Ray Wood Jr, Daughter, Carla Mae Wood, and granddaughter, Amber Clifton.
Carl is survived by granddaughters, Amanda Wood, Cristina Wood, and Tiffany Wood. His great- grandchildren Katelynn, Richard, Aubrey, Preston, Coleton, Jacob, Gracie, Maelee, and Colby. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces and nephews, Howard Wood Jr., James Wood Jr. Michael Wood Sr., Kathy Wood-Norris, Mary Ann Wood-Pipes, Trina Imbrogno, Toni Imbrogno, Brenda Brattleaf-Tomchak, Bridget Addison, and Tara Hanes, amongst other friends and family. Eddy Sasnett was a very loyal and close friend to Carl for many years and was considered family to Carl and Later in life, Andrew Tetteh, and wife Nana, and their sons.
Carl’s passions included golfing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with loved ones. He loved playing his jukebox, filling his home with the sounds of George Jones, Elvis Presley, and Ray Stevens.
For thirty years, Carl and his family owned and operated C & J Metals, showcasing his dedication. He was a devoted husband to Doris Fay Wood, for 49 wonderful years. Their marriage was a testament to love and respect.
Carl Ray Wood Sr. will be remembered for his love of family, zest for life, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
