Charles Driggers was born on January 5th, 1949 in Ridge Spring, South Carolina to Coye and Pauline Driggers. He passed away on September 20th, 2019 in Oklahoma City surrounded by loved ones. He attended Ridge Spring-Monetta High School. He married the love of his life Sumrit Pumlot on May 4th, 1973.
Charles served in the US Army for 20 years before he retired. His favorite pass times included cooking, fishing, wood working and fixing cars. He was a devoted Christian and for many years attended the Nicoma Park First Baptist Church. His greatest accomplishment was watching his children succeed in life, having their own families, and giving him the greatest joy of grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and always wanted the best for them. He also loved vacationing in Thailand.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Coye and Pauline Driggers.
Charles leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Sumrit Driggers and children; Jimmy and Joy Driggers, Jenny and Ricky Compton, Jerry and Jade Driggers. Siblings; Lonnie and Carrie Driggers, Mary Ann and Davey Brunson, Randolph and Lois Driggers.
