Charles Raymond “Charlie” King, 85, of Oklahoma City, passed away February 19, 2018 at his home. He was born July 28, 1932 in Ford, Kansas, the son of George and Bessie (Hampton) King. Charlie had lived in the Oklahoma City area most of his life. He was the owner and operator of C & K Automotive for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He loved animals and spending time with his family and friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sandra King; brother, Donald King and sisters, Emma Jean Cormack and Irene Raney. He is survived by his children, Robert King and wife Carlesa of Vian, Chuck King and wife Louann of Grandbury, Texas, Kelly King of Sallisaw and Lisa Cox and husband Shawn of Midwest City; grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Amanda, Jacob, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Collin, Lindsey, Karlie, Ryleigh and Nicholas; 11 great-grandchildren; special friend, Doug Ools of Oklahoma City and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10am at the Chapel of Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
