Dale Gene Grange

Dale was born on June 9, 1950 to parents Donald and Imogene Grange in Eugene, Oregon.

Dale lived in several states in his childhood due to his father serving in the military. He moved to Choctaw, OK with his family when he was a teenager where he graduated from Choctaw High School in 1968. He met Glenda in 1971 and they were married on February 12, 1975.

In 1975, began working as an engineer in the oil & gas industry for Dresser-Atlas, and retired in 2015 from that same company, then known as Baker Hughes. He traveled all over the country for work and would often regale you with stories of his travels.

Dale enjoyed spending time with his family and took his kids to the movies every chance he could. He always had a positive attitude & was always ready to joke around to make those near him laugh. It’s safe to say his kids can attribute their sense of humor to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Jean Grange; his brothers, Don Ormsby, Dean Grange; and sister, Donna Meyers.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenda Grange and their three children, son Danny Grange and wife Melissa, of Shawnee; son Shaun Grange and wife Myra, of Choctaw; and daughter Jerri Beverage and husband Paul, of Guthrie. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Layla, Connor, Georgia, Cash, Eli, Peyton, Eleanor and Malachi. He also leaves many other family members and dear friends who will greatly miss him.

A visitation for Dale will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A graveside service will occur at Dale Cemetery, 33500 45th St, McLoud, OK 74804 immediately following the funeral service.
