

Dolores June (Williams) Jones was born on June 10, 1930 to Leonard Rudolph and Opal Blanche (Calahan) Williams in Tribbey, Oklahoma. She died on October 2, 2020 at home in Oklahoma City at the age of 90 years.
Dolores has lived in Oklahoma City since 1947, when she and husband Bert Waldo were united in marriage at the Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. They have two children; Sharon Graham of Norman, Oklahoma and Michael Jones of Poteau, Oklahoma. She worked for Western Electric from 1958-1960 and then worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone from 1960 until retirement in 1983. During that time, Dolores also completed Cosmetology School in June of 1965, and worked part-time as a hairdresser until her death.
Dolores was a member of the Park Assembly of God and the New Life Assembly of God Church in Oklahoma City. She loved her church, and was very active in church ministries, including making quilts for the Assembly of God Teen Challenge Program. Dolores also enjoyed reading, sewing, and interacting with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bert, sisters Dorothy and Jeanette, brothers Rudy, Robert, Joey, and son-in-law James Ralph Graham, and grandson, Keith Erin Graham. Survivors include brothers Jim and Kenneth, sister Nadine: children, Sharon Fay (Jones) Graham of Norman, Oklahoma, and Michael Waldo Jones and Sherrie of Poteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren, James Michael Graham and Kristy, Kevin Duane Graham and Amy, Christina Dawn (Graham) Green and Christopher, Matthew Brendan Jones and Meisha, Patrick Adam Jones and Adriana, and Stephen Ryan Jones and Jodi; great-grandchildren, Christian and Noah Graham, Autumn and Andrew Graham, Christian, Cameron, Christopher Jr., and Caden Green, Jackson and Lane Jones, and Maleah and Mattison Jones and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 2-4pm at New Life Assembly of God Church in Oklahoma City, and from 5-7pm at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City. Graveside services will be at 11am Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.
