Emogene Brumfield, 85, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was born on January 1, 1926 in Maud, OK to Frederick and Sarah Mahoney. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Cara Byrne, Susan Howze, Elaine Smart, 3 brothers, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. Visitation will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home on Thursday; August 18, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Wilmont Place Baptist Church with burial following at Sunny Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emogene’s name to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
