

Eustaquio Requena Sr., known to all as Tacho, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 12th, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was 73 years old. He was born on April 15th, 1952 in La Hincada San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Tacho migrated from his native land of Mexico to Arizona in the 1970's. He then lovingly called Casa Grande, Arizona home. Since then he has always worked in agriculture and farming. He loved the beautiful fields that reminded him of his childhood roots. He grew up working the fields since the age of 5 with his brothers and sisters that he so dearly loved. He continued in that industry for over 40 yrs. Mr. Requena adored his family; to him family was everything, and no matter what he was always there with a helping hand or just a phone call away. He loved calling his family each and every day. He had such an overwhelming presence every time he entered the room, especially with his storytelling capabilities. All who came to know him knew he truly was one of a kind. He made friends with everyone who came in contact with him, and he never forgot a name. His soft words would echo once spoken. He truly was wise, and with his wisdom he captured the hearts of many, especially the love of his life, his wife of 35 years, Adela Diaz. They then retired to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2020 where he lived out the remaining years of his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife Adela Diaz. Six sons: Bernardo (Maria) Requena, Elias (Alicia) Requena, Isaac Diaz, Jeremiah Cardenas, Victor Perez and Eustaquio (Dominica) Requena Jr. Three daughters: Rita Diaz, Gloria (Renato) Diaz, and Ely Diaz. His is also survived by two brothers Martin (Diana) Requena and Juan (Raquel) Requena; four sisters Maria (Jesus) Santos, Maria Elezar Requena, Maria Christina Requena, and Alberta (Anthony) Ochoa. He also had over 30 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren. He had such a big loving family which he adored and loved with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father Eulalio Requena, mother Christina Requena, and two brothers Filiberto Requena and Benjamin Requena.
Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, located at 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK, 73115, on November 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 21, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm.
