

George Max Eddleman, 97, passed away in Mustang, OK on March 6, 2017, while holding the hand of his forever love, Dorothy. He was born on October 24, 1919 in Tyler, TX to George Columbus and Maude Aislee (Adamson) Eddleman.
George proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years. During this time he and his wife were stationed at numerous air force bases throughout the world. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, solitaire, dominoes, traveling, RVing, swimming, fishing and collecting coins. He enrolled in photography classes at Rose State to improve his photography skills. While living in Hawaii, he and Dorothy enjoyed waking in the early mornings to comb the beaches, and also found joy in making jewelry from the seeds found in the Hawaiian plants. During their many travels together, they saw Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in Great Britain. After 75 years of marriage, they renewed their wedding vows on February 1, 2017 and till the day he passed, they called each other, honey, my darling, sweetheart and held hands at every opportunity. George and Dorothy shared a love and bond like no other.
George was preceded in death by his parents; children, George Anna LaBrosse, Michael Craig Eddleman; brother, Eugene Eddleman. Survivors include his loving wife of 75 years, Dorothy; son in law, Don LaBrosse, and wife, Shirley; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Desirea McKay; and one great-great-grandson, Kohen McKay.
A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 in the Arlington Mausoleum.
