

Glenn Arthur Banks II 31, passed on from this life into the presence of our Lord on May 31, 2014. He was born on June 18, 1982 in Oklahoma City, OK to Glenn A. Banks and Betty A. Borja. He is survived by his wife Stephanie ; two sons, Cameron and Carson; father Glenn and Step-mother Kay; mother Betty; sister, Michelle; step-brothers, Steven and Carl David Johnson; nieces, Kelsi, Jaelee, Mickinlee, Haylee and nephew Rylee; extended family, Renee Martin and Jimbo Richards. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal Grandparents and favorite Uncle Charles Banks.
Glenn was an amazing husband and father, a wonderful son, and the greatest kind of friend. He was a kind, loving, and bighearted person who was a hard worker and provider for his family. Glenn was a truly respectable young man who lived his life to the fullest along with his family and friends. The true definition of an excellent role model not only for his children but for others as well.
Glenn graduated from Southeast High School in 2001 and went on to work jobs in the oil field industry before finding his passion as an Aviation Maintenance Technician at Tinker Air Force Base. He enjoyed hobbies such as coaching his sons in sports, spending time with his Dad and family, riding motorcycles with his best friends, and winning car shows with the OKCamaro Car Club. He was a mechanical outdoorsman with a deep passion for welding, fabricating, and customizing anything and everything.
There will be a visitation open to the public Wednesday June 4, 2014 from 8 AM to 8 PM at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. The family will be receiving visitors from 4-6 PM. The services will be held at First Southern Baptist Church on Sooner Rd. Thursday June 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM with an internment to follow at Resthaven Memory Garden in OKC.
