Harley Dale Wall, 73, passed away February 20, 2011. Dale was born April 21, 1937 in Gustine, Texas to Otis J and Bertha Lovela (Davenport) Wall. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force. Dale loved spending time with his family and attending family reunions. He enjoyed writing music and singing in his church choir.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Arlo Glidewell; siblings, Arthur and OJ Wall, Mandy Spikes, Alma Hamby, Bertha Davidson, David Wall. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, June Wall; children, Sandy Glidewell and husband Kenny, Nancy Harkey and husband Kevin, Michael Wall and wife Renee; siblings, Ronald Wall and wife Sadie, Lewis Wall and wife Barbara, Lawrence Wall and wife Elizabeth, Sara Humphrey, Richard “Butch” Wall; sisters-in-law, Frances, Betty and Elaine Wall; grandchildren, Scott, Joey and Kylene Glidewell, Katie Wright, Dalton Harkey and Emily Wall; one great-grandson, Nathaniel Glidewell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Meadowood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
