

Harold E. Karry, 76 of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord on Monday June 28, 2010. He was born in Neosho County, KS on the family farm on June 24, 1934 to Pauline Durham Karry and John P. Karry. He married his high school sweetheart K. Nadine Beckwith on May 29, 1953 at First Methodist Church of Parsons, KS.
Harold was a 27-year veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a jet engine mechanic in Okinawa, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. After retirement from the Air Force in 1980, Harold continued his career in the Oklahoma Vo-Tech system where he used his expertise teaching jet engine repair until 1995. Harold was an avid fisherman and gardener and passed those loves on to his family. In preparing for retirement, Harold stated, “God doesn’t deduct fishing and naps from your lifespan”.
Harold was preceded in death by two children, an infant daughter Rhonda Lee and infant son John Oliver; brother, Lloyd Karry, mother Pauline Durham Karry, father John P. Karry, and sister-in-law Phyllis Karry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathryn Nadine Karry as well as four children: son Robert Karry and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City, daughter Della Murray and husband David of Sacramento, CA, son Patrick Karry and wife Cathy of Edmond, son Michael Karry and wife Angela of Choctaw; six grandchildren: Christine Allen, Nicole Allen, Matthew Karry, Scott Karry, Bradley Karry, and Joseph Karry; great grandchild, Skylar King; brother Johnnie Karry of Parsons, KS, and sister Wanda Heck of Parsons, KS.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, Sunnylane United Methodist Church with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
