Helen Marie (Hinson) Walker, 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 with her love ones at her side. She was born September 5, 1953 in Oklahoma City, daughter of Oscar & Jean (Magerkurth) Hinson. Helen was the third of six children and she was preceded in death by her father Oscar Hinson.

She dotted on her beautiful daughter and made every moment special. Decorating their home for Christmas and watching classic Christmas movies was one of the Walker’s favorite traditions. A legacy past down to Brandy and her family.
In more than 40 years of working with animals she trained German Shepherds in Schutzhund, Blood Hounds and bred Rottweilers and miniature Schnauzers. She showed Paint Horses as well. She also enjoyed playing bingo wearing her lucky pom-pom hat, reading, and spending time with her family.
Helen went through some challenging times over the past 10 years with her health; however she was a woman with inward strength and very courageous. One of her favorite activities was watching movies with her granddaughter Mary.
