Jack Amos King, age 84 of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on May 19, 2013.He was born June 8, 1928 in Sparks, Oklahoma to Ralph H. and Joan (Hammock) King. He married his wife Leola Rountree on July 30, 1976 in Del City, Oklahoma. He retired from CMI in 1986 after working for the company for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing, wood work, gardening and he was an avid OU fan. He is survived by his wife Leola King of the home; daughters: Shauna Mitchell of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Vonda Matthews of Bellevue, Nebraska and six other children ; his grandchildren: Ryan Mitchell, Jackson Matthews, Bridget Matthews and Micah Matthews and 11 other grandchildren ; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bill King. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma.
