

James Dugger was born to Willie Dugger and Anne Harrison of Panola County in the city of Batesville, Mississippi, on February 2nd, 1955. James confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at West Camp M.B. Church. James attended South Panola High School and graduated with the class of 1973 in Batesville, MS.
After graduation, James enlisted in the Air Force in 1973, where he became an aircraft mechanic. James was an active service member and was honorably discharged in 1977. While in the military, James met and married Theresa Black, with whom they shares two sons, Darrell and Alen. Although they were later divorced, the two would share a beautiful bond between their two boys. James later went on to work for the Air Force as a civilian until he retired.
James loved his two boys and took great pride in them. He also had a love for motorcycles and classic cars. On any given day, you could find James riding his beloved Kawasaki or driving his classic El Camino.
James is survived in death by his two sons, Darrell and wife Vanita, and his younger son, Alen, and his wife Sharon. James also had grandkids whom he loved dearly: Cameron, Destiny, Darrell Jr., Hayden, Ava Jo, and his great-granddaughter Jada. Also, a special acknowledgment to a wonderful neighbor and friend, Clayton Littleton.
