James Goodman Garrison

James Goodman Garrison, 64, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born in Hinton, Oklahoma, April 4, 1947 to Curtis E. Goodman and Mildred V. Garrison. He served in the US Navy from 1966 to 1970. He was a roofer in the Oklahoma City area for many years. James was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Eugenia Sworski and Gwen Marsh. Survivors include his wife, Jean Garrison; eight children: Brannon and Larry Garrison, Vernell Thompson, Michael and Clayton Reagin, Robin Petty, James Brown, and Bonita Johnson; siblings: Donnie Goodman and wife, Karen; Lonnie Farrell Goodman and wife, Jerry; William Ansel "Butch" Goodman and wife, Nancy; Thersea Joyce Snow and husband, Jay; and Harold Ray Goodman and wife, Linda, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Sunny Lane Chapel with entombment following at the Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
