In 1955 she met her soul mate and love of her life, John F. Jordan, and in 1956 they were married. She was a military wife and loving mother. During her life she had the opportunity to live in several different states, Michigan, Minnesota, Virginia, Texas, she even lived in France for a few years, before settling in Oklahoma. She loved bowling and over the years, bowled in several tournaments. In 1968 her team, the In-Betweeners, were the Fair Lane Champions.
She was an avid country music fan. Even in her latter years, when the alzheimer's had taken over, if she heard a song she knew, she could sing every word to that song. She may not have remembered what she had for breakfast, but boy she didn't skip a word of that song! She was a strong lady with a strong will. She was a giver and had a big heart. In her latter years, her and her husband would visit nursing homes and pass out stuffed toys to the residents. She loved watching people and would often go to a mall just to sit and watch people go by. She loved chocolate. In fact, it was one of the food groups in her home!
She was blessed with 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She loved children, especially babies. So when her children started having grandbabies, she was more than happy to step in and help! She loved being a grandma. The more babies, the happier she was. She used to say, "I can spoil them, then give them back to mom". She always had grandchildren around. And YES she did spoil them!
She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
