She was born March 20, 1945, in Shawnee, OK to Homer (Jack) and Mary Alice Humphrey. A graduate of Midwest City High School, she married BJ Kirkendoll June 6, 1979, in Norman, OK.
Jemme truly lived life to the fullest, traveling with BJ, going to the casino, playing Yahtzee with her children. She always enjoyed having family around her.
Jemme is survived by her husband, BJ, her daughter Angela Lewis and husband David, her son Rocky Hulsey and his wife Julie, her brother Joe Humphrey and his wife Carolyn, her nephew Jesse Humphrey, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family, friends, and others whose lives Jemme touched are invited to the Sunny Lane Funeral Home 4000 SE 29th St. Del City to reminisce, grieve, and support each other, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Services will be Monday 2 pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, with burial following at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
