Jennie Marinda Klein

Jennie Marinda Klein (Hazelwood) was born November 28th 1952 to Abraham Lincoln Hazelwood and Bessie Lee Hazelwood. Jennie passed from this life on February 20th 2024.

Jennie was born and spent her early life in Oklahoma City before moving to Newalla, Oklahoma. She attended Choctaw high school graduating in 1970. Afterwards she attended Rose state where she received her associate’s degree and later a bachelors from the University of Oklahoma.

Jennie met Steve Klein and they were wed on July 6th 1973. They went on to have a son, Steven Klein.

Jennie went to work for the Oklahoma Blood Institute shortly after graduation from Rose and worked until her retirement in 2015.

Jennie enjoyed going to Church where she attended Countryside Baptist Church. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Jennie's hobbies included reading, board games, cards and crocheting.

Jennie is survived by her brothers Fred (Dana) Hazelwood of Newalla, Alvin Hazelwood of Ada, Wayne (Glenda) Hazelwood of Choctaw, Perry (Grace) Hazelwood of Newalla, sisters Judy Hatton of Luther, Lisa (Larry) Bartling of Newalla, Her son Steven Klein of Harrah Oklahoma and her two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Jennie is preceded in death by her father and mother and one sibling Nancy Hazelwood.
