Jose "Jay" Jamie Hiracheta III

Jose Jamie “Jay” Hiracheta III, 59, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Jose was born on July 30, 1966, at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Jose Hiracheta Jr. and Gloria (Young) Hiracheta.

He married the love of his life, Toni, on September 19, 1995. Together they shared many years of laughter, adventures, and quiet moments that meant the most. Jay and Toni’s hearts were forever touched by their son, Cody, who passed away at just 16 days old on May 26, 1995. Jay found comfort over the years in the companionship of his loyal dog, Auzie, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge to be with him again.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Jose Hiracheta Jr., an Air Force veteran; his grandparents, Jose Hiracheta Sr. and Carmen Hiracheta; his son Cody; and his beloved dog Auzie. He is survived by his wife Toni, his mother Gloria Hiracheta, his brother Frank Hiracheta, his sister Suzette Pfanstiel, his three nephews and a niece, along with many more loved ones.

Jose had a strong sense of loyalty and love for those closest to him. He had an easygoing nature and he enjoyed the simple things in life. He was grateful for even the smallest of things. He had a giving heart and would help anyone in need even if it meant doing without.

Jay’s kindness and love of life will be missed more than words can say. His memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the love he gave, and the countless stories his family will continue to share.

A celebration of Jose’s life will be held at a later date as a private ceremony with family and close friends.
