

Juanita “Neta” died February 22, 2020 being 89 years, 15 weeks, & 4 days old.
Proceeded in death by parents Floyd and Vida Clifton and 1 brother, Alton Clifton.
Juanita was married at age 16 and had her daughter just before her 18th birthday. The marriage ended in divorce after 11 years. She raised her daughter alone. She was very devoted to her family and was the rock that held it together. She met Bob Weaver and they were married in Fort Worth, Texas on May 17, 1969.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Bob, daughter Gloria Floyd, 3 grandsons: Michael, Kerry and Terry, 8 great grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Rebekah, Katrina, Aspen, Zachary, Julian and Breanna, 6 great-great grandchildren, Ethan, Garrett, Brice, Javon, Athiena and Paislee, 3 sisters, Eudene Cheek, Reba Brotherton and Aleta Cox plus many nieces and nephews.
Juanita received Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 27 at Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church and was baptized into the Church family. Juanita and Bob joined Southwest Baptist Church on August 28, 1983. Juanita loved teaching Sunday school lessons to 2 and 3 year old children. She felt very blessed to have been able to teach her 3 grandchildren for 2 years. She worked very hard in preparing lessons each week. She had 6 puppets that gave lessons to the children. She and her husband printed Little Peoples Newsletter each month to hand out to the children. She taught 14 years until throat cancer took its toll and brought an end to teaching. Now in Church she can see past pupils that have children of their own that are old enough to be in the 3 year old class. Juanita worked in the automotive industry and was a clothing inspector for dress maker, Sherri Classics. As an avid seamstress she made some of her daughter’s clothes from making a pattern to finished garment. She owned a restaurant in Purcell and owned Juanita’s Truck Stop and Café in Wayne. Moving to Oklahoma City she stayed in the food industry. After her marriage to Bob she sold cosmetics. She loved to paint and make ceramics. She had a ceramic kiln, pour table, and slip mixer. She had finished ceramics in three gift shops in Oklahoma City. She dealt with many health issues during her life including diabetes, congestive heart failure and had cancer five times. She is truly a lady as described in Proverbs 31
