Judy was a loving, compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother, the center of her family, and the one on whom they all depended. As a young woman, Judy entered the Air Force and worked as an aircraft mechanic, but soon met her husband, Dan Hartsburg, while they were stationed in the Philippine Islands. After marrying, Judy left the Air Force and went on to have three children, Debbie, Nathan, and Benjamin (B.J.). Later, Judy worked hard to become an administrative assistant and worked for years at Rose State College. She loved craftwork of all kinds, and would spend much of her free time sewing, knitting, crocheting, and doing embroidery. She enjoyed playing games and watching movies with her family. Judy was also grandmother to her daughter’s children, Megan and Caden, and later adopted Caden to raise as her own when Debbie passed.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Eastside Church of Christ, 916 S. Douglas Boulevard, Midwest City, OK 73130. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
