Katherine Stevenson Lopez, 54, passed away on September 1, 2011. She was born January 12, 1957 in St. Louis, MO to John David and Barbara (St. Clair) Stevenson. One of her greatest passions was teaching children. She enjoyed exercising, caring for animals, environmental preservation, and spending time with her granddaughters.
She is survived by parents; four sons, Steven, Daniel, Andy and Robert Lopez; brother, David Stevenson; and granddaughters, Eva Lopez and Izabel Dora Wright Lopez. Katherine loved spending time with her children and grandbabies.
The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
