Kathryn S. Foster

Kathryn Syble Foster 87, who lived most of her life in Oklahoma City, Ok and recently moved to Craig, Co, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2014 in Craig, CO. Kathryn was born on November 24, 1926 to Jesse and Della James in Davis, Oklahoma. She was the middle of nine children in her family. Kathryn married Keith Foster on November 17, 1947 and together they had two wonderful children.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Ron Foster who lives in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Daughter Cathy Vanatta and her husband Walt live in Craig, Colorado. Kathryn had five grandchildren; Allison Ware and husband Michael, and Logan and Marshall Foster all of whom live in Oklahoma. Jill and Jennifer Lapinski live in Colorado. She had two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Ware and Evan Lapinski. Two brothers, Bob and Bill James survive as well as, two sisters, Betty Rose and Geneva Herndon, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith Foster; grandson Forrest Sharp, bothers Glenn, Floyd and Jesse James. Also, a sister Beatrice (Bea) Allmon, who was the oldest sibling.

She will be greatly missed but her family knows she is resting peacefully with the Lord.
