Lee was born June 17, 1954 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to his parents, John and Caroline (McCole) Clark, and passed away Thursday August 10, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served in the USAF from 1973-1981, the 507th Reserves from 1981-1999 as a Tech Sergeant, and from 2000-2009 as a civilian software control specialist.
He was a very loving husband, father, and grandpa, known as "Peepaw" to his 3 granddaughters. he always enjoyed watching their events and activities. He served as a member of the Del City Church of Christ, often serving as a greeter, in the meals on wheels program and the community garden. He was an avid reader, whose favorite series included: Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. He loved playing golf, whether in the local league or alongside friends, with his lone hole in one a cherished memory.
On February 23, 1979, he was united in marriage to Peggy (Glasgow) and were married for 44 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert Clark and Scott Clark, and twin sisters Kathleen and Josephine Clark.
He is survived by his wife Peggy, son Matthew Clark (Maria), 3 granddaughters, Ella Clark, Mattie Clark, & Charlotte Clark. Surviving brothers and sisters are Liz Vargonen, Dennis Clark (Debbie), Eugene Clark (Marjorie), Marjorie Slayton (Jeff), Virginia Dellinger, Thomas Clark (Julie), Edward Clark (Heather) and sister-in-law Carol Clark.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting seed packets of your favorite flowers. Lee requested everyone to arrive wearing their favorite sports teams apparel and to accommodate the heat with casual attire.
