Linda Fay Sanders

An inspiring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Linda Fay Mansfield Sanders was called to streets of gold on July 2nd, 2025. She passed away at home in Louisiana, where she read her bible and spent time with family.

Linda, 78, was born September 9, 1946, in Wasco, CA to Audra (Davis) and Jack Mansfield. Third of four children. She resided in Oklahoma until 2008 when she moved to Louisiana after losing the love of her life, Everett Tillman Sanders. Linda and Everett fell deeply in love and married in 1969, together they loved each other faithfully for 36 years. They raised two sons with love and humility, selflessly putting the boys above all else.

Linda lived life as a ray of sunshine to her family, friends, and church with her intoxicating smile and encouraging advice. Her sense of humor and vibrant personality are already missed.

Linda is survived by 2 sons Gary (Angie) from Richland, WA, and Greg (Rebecca) from Ragley, LA. Three amazing loves of her life Tim Buell, Amanda Sanders, and Nathan Sanders and one beautiful great granddaughter, Harmony Buell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings: Billy Mansfield, Glen Mansfield, and Marlene Mansfield; and her dearest love Everett.

Mom and Mamaw, we will always love and miss you. You are our sunshine, our only sunshine.
