She became a member of Country Estates Baptist Church in 1964 and sang in the choir. Lola enjoyed large family gatherings so much to that she would try to get everyone together once a month for a family meal. In 1968, she married Harold Mann. Lola was very involved in her grandchildren’s lives.
Lola is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jim Tripp; second husband, Harold Mann; daughter-in-law, Teresa Tripp; siblings, Viola Chastain, Tisha Morrisette, Clarence Chastain, Winford Chastain, and Manley Chastain. Survivors include her children, Bob Tripp and wife Michele, and Tony Tripp; grandchildren, Tim Tripp, Tara Tripp, Daniel Tripp, Stacey Bugher and Kirk Mann; sister, Minnie Carder; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Country Estates Baptist Church with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
