He enjoyed playing his guitar, camping, fishing, woodworking, and playing dominoes.
He retired from Southwest Electric Co. in Oklahoma City in 1993, where he was employed as their purchasing agent.
Luther is survived by his son Roger Harrison and wife, Christy, his daughter Carolyn Wilhelm and husband Karl, and one sister-in-law Delores Harrison, six grandchildren; Justin K. Eubanks and wife Chanda, Lindsey D. Vaughn and husband Christopher, Kyle E. Wilhelm, Karl “Erik” Wilhelm and wife Miranda, Halley J. Maupin and husband Patrick, Matthew A. Harrison and wife Amanda, six great-grandchildren, Kent M. Vaughn, Lillian D. Vaughn, Josiah K. Eubanks, Caroline L. Maupin, Phoenix O. Maupin, and Adaline S. Wilhelm.
Preceded in death by Valena Lea Harrison, his wife of 64 years, parents, five brothers; William “Bill” Harrison, Lee Roy Harrison, Donald Gene Harrison, Cecil Lawson Harrison, and Earl Edward Harrison, three sisters; Beulah Elizabeth Knott, Eula Mae Bomar, and Janis Faye Seay.
